BioMedEng is the UK’s largest community for biomedical engineering, bringing together researchers, clnicians, industry partners and students to advance innovation in healthcare technologies. Originating from a collaborative effort to unify the country’s growing biomedical engineering research base, the annual BioMedEng conference has become the largest gathering of its kind in the UK. Each year, it provides a national platform to share cutting-edge scientific developments, discuss translational challenges, showcase emerging technologies and foster new partnerships. The conference continues to grow in scale and impact, reflecting the vital role of biomedical engineering in improving patient care and shaping the future of medicine.
In 2027 academics from the Biomedical Engineering Research Group, School of Engineering, University of Leicester are proud to be hosting the conference with the support of academics and clinicians from across the University of Leicester, the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and the Midlands Region more broadly.
